Route
The Protest Rock a Rail presented by Monster Energy takes place at the Grote Markt, which is at the center of Den Haag (The Hague). To get there, public transportation is highly recommended.
Public transportation Central Station
Coming from The Hague Central Station, you can hop onto various trams or on the bus:
- Tram 2 towards Kraayenstein, tram stop Grote Markt
- Randstadrail 3 towards Loosduinen, tram stop Grote Markt
- Randstadrail 4 towards Uithof, tram stop Grote Markt
- Tram 6 towards Leyenburg, tram stop Grote Markt
- Bus 25 towards Vrederust, bus stop Grote Markt
Public transportation The Hague Holland Spoor
Starting at train station The Hague Holland Spoor, walking is advised. It's a ten-minute walk, so don't worry, you'll be fine. Walk your way through the Stationsweg and the Wagenstraat, when you're at the Bijenkorf head left. Walk some 200 meters and to your right you'll find the Grote Markt.
Car
Still coming by car? The city of The Hague has a P-route which is indicated by the road signs. It'll lead you to one of many underground car parks, where you can park your car for a huge parking fee. For example, get ripped off at this parking lot, close to the Rock a Rail: Parking Kalvermarkt.
Anywhere close to the Grote Markt
You can probably follow the guys and girls with beanies, baggy pants and smiles on their faces. Or follow the music. Or the ooohs. Or aaahs. Oh hell, you'll get there.
